Leadership Opportunities

Professional development is promoted through trainings and through volunteering opportunities of the association. YIPA achieves many of its goals through the use of committees. Committee involvement allows professionals to get involved in areas of interest and challenge. Committees promote teamwork, camaraderie and give each volunteer the ability to learn and grow in their profession. The current committees are as follows:

• Professional Development Committee
• Fundraising Committee
• Nominating Committee
• Public Relations/Friends of Youth Leadership Award Committee
• Youth Intervention Program Day at the Capitol Committee
• Other ad hoc committees established to meet goals of the organization
